This CD shows that not only is he an "excellent" saxophonist of various styles but an awesome songwriter. It showcases his talents in taking traditional tunes and making them his own, as well as, introducing songs that he has penned "Goin' Home”, "A Tune For Pop”, "The Prophet”, and "This Is That”. His song styles and arrangements are great in comparison to other jazz greats from John Coltrane to Kirk Whalum.

For those looking for jazz and easy listening that’s just in time for the holidays, you definitely don’t want to miss out on this CD. Chuck effortlessly mixes classics with some original songs as well. Chuck Anderson’s Christian foundation is also strongly present on this album with tracks like “I Know It Was The Blood” and “Pray For Me”.
Some of my favorite tracks on the album are the title track “Walk With Me”, ” We Praise Your Name” (which also features beautiful vocals from gospel artist CeCe Godbolt) and “This Is That”. With all of the non thought-provoking music that’s out there now, Walk With Me is definitely a breath of fresh air for the soul.
